Sher walked with us through two difficult medical diagnoses. She is a patient and perceptive listener. She cares about how we deal with challenges and how we feel spiritually about those journeys.
Sher provided caring support and encouragement during my husband’s 2-year illness, his death and in the fog and grief of widowhood. I am grateful for her insights, compassion and support during the most difficult time of my life. She has wisdom beyond her years, and is gifted in helping others experience God’s care and guidance.
When my spouse of 53+ years was surprisingly diagnosed with terminal cancer, Sher combined with God’s leading up a high mountain to climb, leveled the journey by her knowing what to say, when to say it, and how to say it! She provided comfort, calmness, and smoothed out the rough road to help us through this journey. I can not thank her enough!.
Sher is thoughtful, discerning, and empathetic. I’ve seen her navigate tricky interpersonal and faith community conversations with clarity and compassion, listening but also guiding when necessary. She made me feel normal in my doubts, questions and grief.
Sher is a person who is empathetic, a good listener, can relate to many circumstances that come along life’s journey.
Sher walked with me through an extremely difficult six years while I was a caregiver for my husband who had Lewy Body Dementia. She listened, encouraged, asked helpful questions to guide me, instilled confidence in me that I was capable, prayed for me and provided spiritual guidance. I will be forever grateful.
